Anastasia has always had a passion for working with youths and connecting elementary schools students to human-centered design through EEP. After graduating from the University of Michigan with her B.S.E. and M.S.E. in biomedical engineering, Anastasia is planning to pursue a PhD focused on human-centered design. She currently conducts research on engineering idea generation.

Anya was has experience teaching at both the elementary and middle school level, and shares her enthusiasm for engineering design through EEP. She graduated from the University of Michigan with her B.S.E. in Civil Engineering. She currently works in New York at SGH, an engineering consulting firm that designs, investigates, and rehabilitates structures, building enclosures, and materials.

Director Alumni
Mary has always loved working with elementary school children. For multiple summers, she has worked as a day camp counselor for her town’s recreation department. In addition, Mary has taught beginner sports classes for children of all ages. Mary loves playing volleyball, running, traveling around the world, and getting involved in her community.

Reilley has always been passionate about teaching and has applied this passion through coaching gymnastics at the YMCA and through the University of Michigan's K-Grams pen pal program. She enjoys reading, photography, and all types of sports, especially running and snow-boarding.

Over the course of his life, Charlie has grown to appreciate the importance of teamwork in everything he does, and brought those values to EEP. Some of Charlie's other interests include cooking, spending time with friends and following sports.

Hannah has always enjoyed working with younger students and therefore often volunteers her time as a tutor and summer camp counselor. In her free time, Hannah loves traveling, being outdoors and exploring new restaurants and shops in Ann Arbor.

Jacob always makes time to give back to the community. On the Undergraduate Student Advisory Board, he was able to provide feedback to the College and improve the lives of its students. He also does work with younger crowds. A veteran summer camp counselor, he has always loved working with kids.

Jessie loves working with kids and has worked at summer camps and middle schools. She has worked with Code.org to help create computer science curriculum for K-12 students. Outside school, she loves climbing mountains, biking, watching movies, and playing trumpet.

Scott has a variety of experience working in elementary STEM education including tutoring and coaching Science Olympiad teams. He has also spent past summers as a camp counselor. In his spare time, Scott likes to run, cook, and go backpacking.

Joey has always enjoyed working with kids, both as a reading and writing tutor for elementary students and coaching soccer youth soccer. In his free time, Joey enjoys reading, sports, and anything outdoors.

Amanda has always been excited about elementary education, and has had experience volunteering in schools and working at science camps. Amanda loves traveling, playing sports, running, and biking.

Josh has been involved with consulting and cultural groups on campus, but has always had a deep-rooted passion for the human motivations behind the science of engineering. He has tutored in science and math before. In his free time, Josh enjoys playing guitar, working out, and hiking in wild and overgrown places.

Tasha has always enjoyed working around young children, spending a year after secondary school as a pre-school teaching assistant and volunteering at Ann Arbor elementary schools while at the University of Michigan. She loves engineering because of its capacity to change the world and affect everyone positively. Tasha loves spending time with family and friends, baking, and exploring the world around her!

Through volunteering in classrooms, being a pen pal, and assisting in engineering education events, Sierra realized she enjoys working with young students and helping them learn more about what engineering has to offer. In her other time, Sierra enjoys outdoor activities in any season, trying new types of food, and reading.
